Yeah I lied. Who am I kidding, I'm not gonna do a 5k. I have been doing the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred again, though. Going pretty well. Mom and some people from her school started it, so I decided to join in and now Christine is too, so we've all got a lot of accountability. Did it 5 days last week and am going to do it tonight after I finish uploading some pictures from my camera. I actually did it 6 days the week before Thanksgiving, too, but decided to start over since I skipped all of Thanksgiving week.
So ready for school to be out... All I have left is my online Systematic Theology final and a book review and a case study for Human Sexuality. I just can't seem to get motivated though. Blah. I should really be working on that. Any of that.
Also, Tuesday is my first week as "senior counselor" in practicum... yikes! I hope I'm up for it... I don't feel like I got a lot of feedback last semester, so I don't feel very sure of myself... It's not that I think I'm going to do bad, I just don't know if I'm doing good. I guess we'll find out soon! I think I'll do fine. And even though I am nervous, I'm also excited... should be fun!
Well, I guess I should go get to work... b/c the more schoolwork I get done, the more I can work this week and the more I get paid. And I really need to be saving some (... she says, after spending way too much at Old Navy this afternoon...)
Currently listening: Glee Vol. 4 and Glee Christmas albums
Currently watching: Monk season 1 and Freaks & Geeks

Yeah...
Ok, so obviously I'm not too faithful with this whole blogging thing... whatev.
So I think I've decided that I want to run a 5k for my new year's resolution (yes, I realize it's only November). Now don't hold me to this or anything yet (not that anybody's actually reading this anyway), but I always make resolutions like "lose 50 lbs." or something and obviously it never happens... so this one seems do-able right? Start walking now. Start walking/running in Jan. Do (not necessarily run it all, but complete) a 5k by summer, and then run one by next Dec. It all sounds good, right? We'll see if it happens, but for now, those are my thoughts. I'm also taking 15 hours in the spring... hmm. Yeah...
Oh yeah, and random iTunes song of the day= Neverending Summer by Dayplayer
Current Netflix= Freaks and Geeks

Finally Friday!
This has been a long week... lots of school stuff, etc. All day yesterday I felt like it was the weekend and had to keep reminding myself that I still had 2 more papers to write before the weekend (which I have now finished!)
I went to praise band practice at church on Wednesday night, and am really excited to be singing in church on Sunday. I was in the university praise band my last semester of college and loved it and wished I had gotten more involved sooner, so I'm glad to be able to get involved here at Bear Creek.
Going to a movie with friends tonight, so I'm excited about that... probably shouldn't be spending the money, but it's nice to get out every once in a while. I think I stay home alone too often... laziness breeds laziness, and I'm admittedly lazy when I'm at home.
Short post today, since I have to go to work in a few, but I'm trying to make myself do this more often... surely there's something therapeutic about this, right?
Just bought 2 new things on iTunes(and so far, so good!): The album "Smoke Signals" by Jericho (aka Mark Salling aka Puck from the tv show Glee) and 2 songs by Dayplayer (aka John Francis Daley aka Dr. Lance Sweets from the tv show Bones). Hmm... I'm noticing a pattern, here...

Trying out this blogging thing...
Ok, so I'm trying out this whole blogging thing. Basically, I figure I might as well have one more thing to waste my time with online. Also, I guess it'll be a good way for me to rant or whine about things that no one cares about... or at least don't care as much as I do.
I don't really have a whole lot to talk about today, other than the fact that I'm awake and shouldn't be. Got back from practicum around 10, then watched Glee. Now wasting time online (obviously).
I went to the AACC conference this past weekend in Branson, MO. It was so good! I definitely learned a lot and bought a lot of books that I'm not sure when I'm going to read. Got a lot of great resources and information.
For real though, I should go to bed... I've got an 8:00 class in the morning. First, need to read my Bible though. I'll be honest, I've kinda slacked lately... I'm in Leviticus and it's hard reading and hard application. But as much as I can read about God teaches me about His character and I need to just keep reminding myself of that.
Every post I'll try to post what song is on my iTunes at the moment (I've almost always got some background music going) and what I'm watching on Netflix (b/c I watch it way too much).
Random iTunes song of the day: Captivate Us by Watermark
What I'm currently watching on Netflix: Firefly (yes, the nerd in me is coming out on that one... it's pretty good though, too bad there's only 1 season)
