Happy Easter!

Had such a great Easter weekend in Houston (well, Richmond... whatever).  Drove through Waco on my way down on Friday and had lunch with Jenny for her birthday (which was Wednesday), then got into town around 5 or so.  Friday night we went to "The Miracle" at Nolan's school.  It was so good!  It was a walk-through play kind of thing of the last days of Jesus' life.  Nolan was a Roman guard in the crucifixion scene.  I was really impressed with all the kids' acting and everything.  Saturday, me, Lora, and Aunt Beth went to see Soul Surfer-- such a good movie!  The only thing that bothered me was that Carrie Underwood was one of those girls who looks cute on mission trips... You just don't wear heavy makeup, cute clothes, and earrings while doing tsunami relief... sorry.  But seriously, great movie!  I also got to see Kim and Andrew, who live on the other side of Houston, but they drove over to the mall to see me!  It was great to get to catch up with them.  (Shameless plug:  if anyone needs any graphic or web design, Kim is your girl... everything she does is so cute!  www.tinyowlstudios.com )  Anyway, so Sunday we actually didn't go to church, so that was a little weird, but we figured the Friday night thing counted.  And I have to admit, it was nice to lounge around and even get some homework done that morning.  My uncle's brother and his wife came for lunch, which was so good, and then it was time to get back on the road...

Ate way too much, though, of course, which has kind of been the story of my life the last couple weeks.  Last week, I was pretty stressed over a paper at school (It was on Cognitive Behavioral Play Therapy... but I feel pretty good about it at least), plus I was running out of groceries, so that equals... junk food/fast food.  Oops.  Definitely gained weight last week.  And probably even more over the weekend, so I'm gonna really try hard this week and get back on it.  Doing well with my running though.  I'm on Day 2 of Week 4 (yeah, yeah, it's been like 8 weeks...), and Day 3 is running a mile!  Well, it's running 10 minutes anyway... I doubt I'm running fast enough for that to be a mile yet, but I'll build up to it.

Well, I got up early so I could be productive today, so I should go do that.

Netflix:  DVD- The Switch- really cute!; Instant- Brothers & Sisters still- it's like watching a train wreck... they're so dysfunctional!  But I just can't help but watch!

iTunes:  I bought the 2 newest Glee soundtracks (#5 and the Warblers one) for my drive home yesterday, and I'm loving them as usual!
